Description
Durness is Scotlands most North Westerly Village and is the place where founder member of the Beatles, John Lennon, spent his holidays from the age of nine to sixteen; a place he also revisited as an adult in 1969 with his son Julian. It is said that the Sutherland landscape inspired John Lennon to write the Beatles song In My Life.
